3 Healthy Options for Your Morning Breakfast

There is that age old adage that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, the truth is that what is most important is what you eat throughout the day and there is not one meal more important then any other.

If you like breakfast, great! If you are not hungry in the morning we can't be friends..

I am kidding of course, and what I really should say is that there is not only one right way to eat. You have to do what works and is sustainable for you. (More on that in a later post, stay tuned!)

Obviously I have eluded to the fact that I am indeed a breakfast person, so check out my 3 quick go to breakfasts (+coffee) that help me get out of bed in the morning and snap me out of my "non-morning person funk".


1) Egg Whites scrambled with Peppers and Mushrooms.

2) Plain Greek Yogurt with Peanut Butter Granola and Berries

3) Overnight Proats - My New Favorite so I have included the recipe!


1/2 Cup of Steel Cut Oats

1/2 Cup of Coconut Milk

1 Scoop of Scitec Nutrition Protein Powder

1/4 Tsp Vanilla Extract

A few blueberries, raspberries or even a few slivered almonds are a fun add.

Mix everything together in a bowl or jar, cover and leave in the fridge overnight (at least 6 hours. You can enjoy cold or quickly heat in the microwave if you prefer it warm.
